New Hours

We will have new hours beginning September 1, 2017.  We will be open 45 hours per week.  The hours will be: Monday 9-7, Tuesday 9-7, Wednesday 9-5, Thursday 9-7 and Saturday 9-4.  We hope that adding two more hours on Tuesday and seven hours on Saturday will make it more convenient to come to the library.

Quilt Raffle

The library received a beautiful quilt as a donation.  The quilt was pieced and machine quilted by David Boltz of Duncansville, PA.  Tickets are $5 and are available at the library and from Board Members and friends.  The quilt is 101″ by 87.5″ and would fit a queen size bed.  The drawing will be held on October 14 at the Annual Fundraising Dinner at the East Freedom Fire Hall.

Summer Learning Program

The Summer Learning Program (formerly known as the Summer Reading Program) will begin on June 19, 2017.  The theme this year is Build a Better World.  There are many ways to build a better world through community efforts, bridging the generation gap, and working to improve the environment.  We will also be learning about building structures.  This is a great theme for learning new STEM skills.  The program will last six weeks.  Please come in and register for the Summer Reading Program.
