Closed
The library will be closed on Tuesday, January 26, due to the weather.
Christmas Closing
The library will be closed from December 24 through the 27th for the Christmas holiday.
Snow closing
Due to the snow storm, the library will be closing today at 2:00 pm and will remain closed through tomorrow. We will be opening again on Saturday at 9:00 am.
Closed until 12/7
The Claysburg Library is closed until 12/7 due to an exposure to COVID-19. In consultation with the BCLS, the library decided to send staff members home and close out of an abundance of caution.
Trick or Treat Postponed Until Saturday, 10/31
The night for Trick of Treating in Greenfield Township has been changed until Saturday from 6-8.
Closed for Trick or Treats
Due to the pandemic and concern for the health of our employees, the library will be closing at 6:00 pm on October 29.
Friends Helping Friends
We will be participating in Friends Helping Friends at Boscov’s in Altoona. It runs for two days, October 14 and 15. There is no pass. You will get 20% off the lowest price on most items. Learning @ the Library will be Presented as Take-home Materials
Our popular preschool program, Learning @ the Library, will be done on a take-home basis. It will begin August 31. Each week papers will be available to be picked up. Please call the library at 814-239-2782 to register your child for the program.
