The Claysburg Library is closed until 12/7 due to an exposure to COVID-19. In consultation with the BCLS, the library decided to send staff members home and close out of an abundance of caution.

Trick or Treat Postponed Until Saturday, 10/31

Due to the pandemic and concern for the health of our employees, the library will be closing at 6:00 pm on October 29.
Friends Helping Friends

We will be participating in Friends Helping Friends at Boscov’s in Altoona. It runs for two days, October 14 and 15. There is no pass. You will get 20% off the lowest price on most items. Labor Day Closing

The Library will be closed September 7, 2020 for Labor Day.

Learning @ the Library will be Presented as Take-home Materials

Our popular preschool program, Learning @ the Library, will be done on a take-home basis. It will begin August 31. Each week papers will be available to be picked up. Please call the library at 814-239-2782 to register your child for the program.

STEM Take and Make Kits Available at the Library

STEM kits are available to borrow from the library. They range from PK to 12th grade. These were made possible by a PAsmart grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf, Governor.

Our temporary hours are 9-5 Monday through Thursday.

We are open!
The library is now open for patrons to come and browse the shelves, check out books and use the computer. Summer Quest will begin on June 22. Please call and sign your children up. Activities will be sent home rather than held at the library. We are looking forward to seeing you again!
